Put a table against your camper and perpendicular. That will give you a few feet of space.

If someone is being bothersome just politely ask them not to cut through your site as you prefer your privacy. If it continues then I would suggest talking to the camp host or superintendent.
It can be quite the problem if you are camped close to an attraction. Usually it is kids running to the beach or bathrooms. If it is kids you may have to tell them more than once, LOL, just don't swear or be rude or you may have a whole family coming over to settle things.
We try not to let it bother us unless they are too close, have bikes, or are noisy. I notice that a lot of sites are smaller and closer to one another than here. I see that as being an issue.

Yes, people should know better, but most don't care. Reminds me of my college days almost 60 years ago. We had worn a path across the grass in getting to our classes; the college finally got smart and just laid a concrete sidewalk on top of the path we had worn.

Try to avoid "crossover" spots. RV parks could design layouts better. Put in sidewalks in obvious "needful" spots.

Just start asking them personal questions every time they go through. How old are you? What did you have for breakfast? Is your camper paid for? Would you like to buy some life insurance? Hey got a minute to help me wax my camper?

Or, just set out a row of chairs or tables that they must move every time they go through.

It depends on the layout of the campground. I never cut through someone's site. HOWEVER, we were in a campground that was a circle with rows of campsites within the circle. The bathhouse was in the CENTER of this circle. There were two ways to get there: walk a considerable distance around the circle to a entry road, OR cut through campsites. We decided to cut through the campsites.

A few weeks ago we were in a state park where the easiest way to get to the bathhouse was cutting across campsites. So we had a lot of traffic walking by us. We understood the reason so it did not bother us.

That was a lesson for us. We learned that some campgrounds are designed in such a way that traffic moves through campsites rather than around them.
