Walmart Wouldn't Fix a Flat

I've had great results with the tire plugs that are like a pipe cleaner covered with goo. I've put tens of thousands of miles on car tires after having plugged them myself with those.

I would use them in a pinch on my truck or trailer, just to get out of a bind. But even though I've seen them last for years, I would not want them on my TV or fiver and would get it properly patched.

I had mine plugged at a Firestone dealership, so I hope they used a heavy duty patch for the heavy duty LT Transforce tire. I told him it was for a 5th wheel and that I wanted them to re-air to 80 psi.

Be sure they put a proper patch on the tire. We were leaving on a trip and two days before we left I picked up a nail in a rear tire of my PU, Took the tire to a GY dealer and he put a patch on it. 140 miles into the trip the patch blew out. Called GS road service and the guy that came out took the tire off, broke it down on the side of the road and told me that they put a auto tire patch on it. He put a correct patch on and remounted the tire. No problem after that,

Same here Cosco wont put LT tires on a trailer but across the parking lot American Tire will

Must be a local thing as our Costco has put two sets of LT tires on our 5'er in the last three years-last set was for a recall.

You guessed it, OP. Never mention "trailer" to Wal-Mart. I took two tires/rims in to have belted radials put on for my little 10' utility trailer. They said they would not mount the tires.

I waited until the next day, took the same rims in and told them it was for a sand buggy I had. They mounted with no hesitation. They have gotten in the CYA mode so heavily that you can barely get them to do anything anymore. I'm waiting for them to open a self serve car clinic like the self serve check outs they are pushing.

BTW, I don't use their self serve check outs unless they are willing to, either, give me a huge discount on the products I'm purchasing or until they put me on payroll for the period of time I would be "doing their job".

A WalMart in CO told me they could not mount any tire bigger than what was offered OEM on my Jeep.

I asked "What if I just pulled up with wheels and tires in the back of my truck? Would you mount them?"

He said "Yep."

On a Class C? Bet if you pulled in with a 3500 with E tires, they'd have no problems. Why's a MH any different?

I had a pickup tire patched at walmart once. Cost $10 and took 2 hours.
