I rather just pay to have stuff fixed as it happens or fix it myself. For the past 20 years of life for my 5th wheel I have replaced or had replaced/fixed:
Control Board for the fridge
Coil Unit for the fridge
Several Batteries (set of 4 about every 5 years)
4 sets of tires mostly due to age
Leaf Springs
2 sets of brakes
Resealed the roof
Couple of plumbing leaks
1 new toilet
1 generator
1 A/C unit
1 Awning
About $8000 in parts and labor. With exception of tires, batteries and brakes, the majority of this started after the rig was 10 years old. Most of this stuff wouldn't be covered by the waranty.
