In this post...I mentioned plumbing your washer downstream of the gray tank and "Not" into the gray tank!!!!
The reason I suggest this is.... I just (this morning) winterized my washer. If you are plumbed into the tank you can not "visually" witness the washer pumping the antifreeze to drain. If you get a good pink color from the open ended sewer connection....then you know that you have thoroughly "winterized" the washer lines and pump. If it goes to the tank... you will never know if you got a "good" winterization! Again...just my 2 cents worth!
