"Did you do some custom wiring to install them. I'm thinking of doing an Apartment size stack able with 220v but am worried about using them when the AC is running."
You need 50A service in your RV to do what you are wanting to do. I run our AC units all the time with no concern for the washer of dryer.
The dryer was ordered 220V it has 10ga 30A wiring. The Bosch 220V washer we added is 20A. If we had a Bosch Dryer it would plug into the dryer outlet and then the 220V washer would plug into the dryer it's self. So I tapped into the 30A and added a 20A receptacle on top. Combined they are well under 30A draw so all is copacetic.
