Laundry is once every 2 weeks for us. Gather up clothes, go to laundry, use 3 or so full size machines, in less than 2 hours all done. That huge space in the trailer where a washer & dryer would go has been adapted to be one massive pantry.
Yea we felt the same, NOT anymore!!!
Bosch 220V Washer and Whirlpool 220V Dryer. Don't get bitched at for taking too many machines and don't have to deal with others disgusting messes from there dog blankets or who knows what.
Once you had them you won't go back. Same goes for a dishwasher. - hone_eagleExplorer

Most of you are probably speaking from a full time basis? My wife says there is no way in hell she is doing laundry in our trailer while on vacation. Me, I want to install a dishwasher there.
My wife said the same ....... until
now she's seen the light ,myself dont care either way. - ETCrockettExplorerWife and I are not full-timers yet. I was all for getting the washer/dryer for her, but DW says "No". She doesn't want to give up the storage plus as mentioned by others it only takes a couple of hours to do 2 weeks in the large machines at the laundry mat compared to the small load capacity of the RV machines. I have always found the laundry mats in campgrounds to be very clean. It is not like the ones you might find in town. I think campers are just use to keeping their RV's clean and that carries over to the campground laundry mat. Plus the campground wants to keep you happy and so clean them regularly. For us, for now, the storage is more important.

Another about every two weeks. While out and about we watch for laundry mats that looks clean, stop and see what it looks like inside. I am not full time but do extended trips of 2-4 months at a time. Many of the camp grounds I have been in state no laundry, trailer wash etc in the rules. Not sure how they would know, trailer shaking on spin cycle? All the RV units look like they would be full with a couple pair of jeans. I'm for just getting it over. - Super_DaveExplorerMost of you are probably speaking from a full time basis? My wife says there is no way in hell she is doing laundry in our trailer while on vacation.
