Splendide has an excellent reputation for reliability.
Some say the ventless works fine for them. Others say they are not worth having, but I am not sure any of them actually had one. They do use a lot more water as they use cold water to condense the heated water vapor and flush it out the drain as their drying method.
To install a vented model would simply require cutting a hole thru the side wall for the vent. Not a big deal if you are handy with tools. Or an RV dealer service department could do it for you.
Our Splendide combo vented has been great and trouble free for 7 years.
