Washer/Dryer Need recommendations

Have the Ariston stackable set. Made by Splendide. Haven't used the combo units but if the quality and performance of the stackables are any indication, the Splendides are a good product. I hear that a vented version is the way to go if possible. Major difference for us from our S/B units is the small loads. Just the two of us and no unmarried kids bringing laundry home when visiting.
