Seriously Melissa, this Forum can't solve all your problems for you. If your boyfriend won't/can't still the vent, then you just have to find someone else who will.
It's no different really than drilling a hole in the wall of a house, so any handy man or appliance installer type should be able to do it. The one recommendation I'd make is to check with Forest River first, to make sure you don't drill where a water or electric line, or other important structure, is located.
