I wouldn't go far as to say ventless models are junk. There are applications where that is the only option and having a washer/dryer in an RV is mandatory for me as a full timer. The ventless models do work, they just use a lot more water per load vs a vented model.
I have a 2100XC and wouldn't be without it. I use it as a colored clothes hamper and when it is full enough to run I run it. If it is every day so be it. I don't care how long it takes to wash/dry. I just don't try to do all laundry at one time as in a s&b.
