I'm hoping it is just water condensation, but I have noticed that after our camper has been sitting for a while, when I pull it onto our road, facing downhill, water runs out from the belly of the camper. When I noticed it in the summer, not much came out, but I noticed today that a larger amount has run out. Could it be from the temperature changes day to night? Or should there be no reason for condensation underneath?

Could it be that your front cap needs to be re-sealed? Possibly causing some water to trickle down into the bottom around the pin box? Then when you lower the 5er, the water would either run out around your pinbox, or into the floor of your basement. Just a guess, but if your 5er has been in the rain, that could be a reason for it...If not in the rain and your front cap is sealed well, I'd make sure you don't have any leaks in any plumbing in that area of your 5er...ON EDIT: Notice you have a 2013, which would probably mean it's not the front cap seal, but again, one never knows...I'd make sure there are no "slight leaks" anywhere in the plumbing up front...Check seal around the front cap anyway..

I think you have a water leak or water actually entering the space, you need to figure this out before mold occurs. Sounds like a warranty issue given the new 2013 trailer. Does your onboard water pump cycle when just sitting there???? Get it fixed ASP!Chris

Listen for the pump to activate when you aren't turning anything on. If it does, you have high probability of a plumbing leak.

I mentioned checking for leaks earlier....the other thing one might look at, depending on where the OP's is located, would be to check all connections at their hot water heater, if located forward near point where it could leak into the basement.

I had a similar problem. Finally found the joint out of the holding tanks was seeping. Got that fixed and all was good for a while. Then it started again. A little water settling in the underbelly. Eventually pooling up to be a couple gallons in there. Found out the tanks were fine. No leaks there. But then found it was a leaky vacuum breaker, that goes to the black tank flusher. They hide those things...so hard to find. Found it behind the faucet valves for the shower.The point is your leak could be any one of a myriad of things. But is sounds like a leak, for sure. You should not be seeing noticeable condensation down there. Check any plumbing connections. Water pump, under sinks, around water heater, flush valves, city water connections, etc. A slow leak is hard to find. Place a piece of cardboard under neath any connection, and go back later to see if any evidence of leaking.

Ditto on the driving in the rain issue.... We drove from Colorado to Indiana with rain on and off for 6 or 7 days in a row... That was about three weeks ago... I need to drop the corroplast to check and dry when I get back to Florida Nov. 1st. In the meantime, hole punched to let it drain.

How well does the Gorilla tape work? .... I was thinking about affixing with screws, a flat aluminum piece to squeeze edge of corroplast against frame for a better seal.

yep you or the stealer has to deal with it. If there is insulation on top of the underbelly, think what a soggy/rusting/rotting mess that will be. What a mess.

I sealed mine up with Gorilla tape to prevent water intrusion. Also, punch small drain holes in sagging areas.

I recently had a similar situation with water in the belly of our fiver. Without going into all the detail let me just say ours was not a plumbing leak OR a leak from rain BUT a water intrusion from DRIVING in the rain.
If you have pulled the rig in the rain, I suggest you check the integrity of the underbelly fabric and any areas underneath where water could get in from driving in the rain.
I noticed this in July and it took me till last week to rule out fresh water plumbing leak, black tank flush, roof/caulking leaks from rain storms, etc. I knew it was not grey or black tank leaks due to odor - the only odor was a wet insulation smell.
I drove in a torrential rain storm on two occasions back in July. I have concluded that resulted in the water in an area of the underbelly.
It took me a while and several trips to go through the process of elimination but I'm comfortable with my deduction. The underbelly has remained bone dry through about 12 nights of use, much FL rain, and black tank flush use. The only thing I have not done is drive in the rain.

2X on the tank flush vacuum break valve! Mine was up inside a panel in the computer desk. Had water running on the floor the first time I used the black tank flush. Here is the picture of mine. I installed a manual valve in the flush input line which I reach under the side panel to operate.
