I fulltime so my system might be different then what you want.
I went to Lowes/Home Depot and bought a couple whole house filters (that take standard filters). Do not get clear ones (algae). I used PVC to connect them. You will also need to add the appropriate hose connection to the inlet and outlet ends. I buy filter elements from the RV water filter store. He can also sell you short hoses for connection purposes.
Do yourself a favor and buy a good Watts pressure regulator with a gage from him too.
If you will only use the rig a few times during the summer, then maybe just get one of the Camco blue filters and toss it at the end of each camping year. Let it drain between trips.
