Water Hose Reel

I just use a regular hose reel from Menards. I have 200 feet of Flexzilla water hose on it.

Dan, Did you mount he reel somewhere ?

I think Mor Ryde has a horizontal reel. You might check there web site

I am thinking more along the lines of mounting a powered reel, tucked under the side skirting near/under my convenience center. If this would work (manual or electric) it would allow me to leave my hose and filter hooked up when traveling and make setting up that much faster. I am not sure if there is enough room at this location, but that is where my thought process started.

I sure wish these things were made better. I've gone through two of them at the house using them for general watering and running a sprinkler. They have both sprung a leak at the connector and one developed several pin-hole leaks. I think I'll stick with reinforced water hoses.

BTW, I did get my reel installed. Installed it in the empty generator opening in the front of the 5er. Picking up two more reels today. One for the power cable and one for a power cable extension. I'll post a few photos this evening when I get home.

No issues at all. I need to add another one so I can reel up my 30 amp cord I use when 50 isn't available

You did not paste the URL as it was posted. You evidently tried to use the icon above the reply window (looks like a yellow postcard). Forget that icon. Just paste exactly what you get from the app I gave directly into your reply. Don't add anything.

I fixed your post and had to take out the extra img statements. You had an extra one in front of and behind the link given by the app.

I am allowing the "hyjack" because it will probably help other posters of this forum. Here is a link to the original post about the picture posting app and also a test thread to try it out.

To all of you having problems posting pictures:

1. The recommended limit on photo size is 640px wide, not 800.

2. Click here and upload your photo.

3. Copy/paste the resulting URL directly into your post with NO changes.

4. Your picture will appear in your post and will be properly sized for our forum no matter what size it was when you uploaded it.

That's it! So simple even a cave man can do it. :)
