Water hose size
Does it really make any difference whether to use 5/8 or 1/2 " for the hose size to the FW? Thank"s Larry

Friction loss is a reality, and small differences can create more loss than is intuitive. For example, examine this chart:
I use 5/8" for all hoses, and these for all connections downstream of the park connection:
