I had a leak in the basement that took a long time to identify. It turned out to be the shower valve between the back of the shower wall and the trailer wall behind it. It only leaked when the shower was in use, and it dripped down on top of the drain pipe, which cause me to change drain parts several times. :)
We ran the shower quite some time trying to verify it wasn't the problem. There was no noticeable evidence pointing that direction. I am still stumped but hoping the filter proves to be the issue so I can quit worrying about it.
