Water Pump Replacement...Looking for hi flow unit

2003 Citation Supreme. 26RKS

I currently have what I believe to be the original Surflow 3.0 or 3.3 GPM pump. It works fine except for when I wish to shower...and that is the issue. Very little water pressure out the shower head.

Trailer water lines are all PEX - Current pump is easily accessible

So I'm Looking at something with a bit more"jam" so to speak and am considering purchasing this SEAFLO 5.5 GPM unit:

Anyone have experience with this particular model..??
If its NFG, any other recommendations.??

    Yea...it wasn't the pump.
    No leaks in system.
    Shower head is clean.

    Tub Diverter was hooped..!!

    replaced - full shower coming down..!

    Good point about the build up. The Shurflow 3.0 actually makes for a decent shower in our trailer.

    Just a thought, check to make sure you don't have a build up of crud in your shower head. We have a 3 year old 5er, and this spring the kitchen sink faucet put out next to no water compared to when we bought it new. we took it apart, soaked it in vinegar and it works like new.

    It might not be your pump.

    I bought the Seaflo 55 a couple of months ago just to get back to the high flow my old Sensor 5.7 had (RIP). It's junk. Just makes a lot of noise, cavitates and rumbles but the Seaflo doesn't put out any more than the Shurflo 3 gallon per hour (4008) that came with my trailer. It's a total disappointment and has been relegated to being a back-up pump in case the Shurflo quits.
    When Shurflo comes out with a bigger, 5 chamber pump, I'll buy it.

    I had that at one time, but it's LOUD, and 60psi was too much for my 15yo plumbing. Leaks everywhere.

    I suspect it's not your pump. Maybe a kink in the shower line, or a dirty head.. or something else.
