Good points, I did go out and found that the fuse on the converter was blown and I replaced it. Now when plugged into shore power I get the monitor to work now as well as the fridge while plugged in. However, when not plugged in, I'm still in the same boat.
However, thanks to the above diagram I noticed that maybe I have batteries hooked up wrong? I have both the house wires hooked up to the main battery and then the connecting wire hooked up to the second battery. So I'll try to change that up and see if it helps. I will also try to change all the fuses and see if that makes a difference.
