I honestly think it has more to do with a lack of imagination and a refusal to accept anything new or different as being of any worth at all.
Perhaps, as most all posters here are RV'ers, we have gotten older and so set in our ways that something new, as this hitch system is, is immediately scorned as not workable or without merit, without first having at least investigated or researched the merits of such a system.
