I don't think this can really be referred to as a "new product" since I believe there have been previous iterations of this product. Sometimes there's a reason the products don't catch on, regardless of how far-seeing and innovative they appear to the more "enlightened". :)
My thought is if you have enough truck to haul your trailer, why do you need one of these? Seems like the answer would be, you don't have enough truck and this is the bandaid. JMO of course.
Open mindedness is good, just don't be so open minded your brains fall out. :)
JMO , you got that part right, as most do on this forum. Why would you think a bandaid, you cannot come up with any reasons for wanting one. Believe me your not in fear of your brains falling out
Have a good friend that has one of these hitches, towing his fifth wheel from Florida to Idaho every summer,and into the fall to hunt . Has plenty of truck. He simply has one because he wants to haul his 4 wheeler in the bed of the pickup . Does not want to tow double, for whatever reasons. He said the hitch works very well for him. Not my opinion, just relaying what he has told me.
