weight question
I have a 2011 dodge 1500 quad cab with a 5.7 v-8 hemi set up with a tow package. It is rated to tow 10,050. I'm looking at a 2007 Keystone Copper Canyon 293 sls rated at just at bit over 9000lbs. dry....

Say's here your GVWR is 8600, unladen was 5600. Also says Max towing 5k lbs.
LINK And this one states your campers dry weight is 8546 with a GVWR of 11176 and has a 12% pin ratio.
Maybe I looked up a wrong number or link. Or maybe max towing isn't a spec :H 12% pin ratio is about as low as I've seen though.
If you look at the tow ratings from Trailer Life, the tow ratings for the 1500HD 6.0 is either 8300 or 10,300lbs, depending on the rear axle ratio.
True, but gear ratio doesn't affect GVWR or RAWR..just GCWR...also, there is a bit of a difference between the 1500HD and the "regular" 1500. So if Nmace is comparing his 1500HD to ops 1500, it's not a good comparison.
