I think the actual weight unloaded was in the 15K range. In looking at all that space for "stuff" in the front, adding to the pin weight, which I think was2800 ++, and I could see another 1000 lbs easy. Just looking at what I carry in my bays is scary.
I really don't want a dually, or a long bed for that matter, so guess I'd better talk DW into something smaller and lighter. It's gonna be hard to go from real wood to something imitation like.

I fought off the dually as long as I could - even brought the trailer home with our SRW SB. It was after I weighed and found I had maxed out the tire load range on the rear that I caved in and got a dually - within the week I might add :)
I'll be honest - the dually tows like a dream, but the other 90% of the time I hate the truck and it sits in the garage. DW won't touch it. I had to get a third car for a daily driver.
