I hated my Dually...it was a bare bones XL model... crew cab long bed model. contractors grade type truck.
But when I put my golf cart in the bed and hooked up the trailer it was amazing. Stable and capable.
I may have felt a little different about it had it been an XLT or a Lariat...the Xl was just not comfortable for a family on long trips.
IMHO...that trailer dictates a Dually..JMHO..you are going to be near 18k loaded for bare.
If you want to stick to a SRW you need to get something lighter in the trailer.
My wife and I have made that decision in our situation...we would rather have a lighter trailer and a dual role TV ...something we can daily drive and can pull our trailer.
