If the slide on your 3705 is anything like my 2006 3505, when the slide is completly opened there is a accessible wood paneled box on top of the wheel well that contains the motor and cables. It comes apart fairly easily and once opened up or removed you should be able to assess the issue and go from there.
Yes sir I think that is where the assembly may lie. Now my only issue is will I cause any damage having the slide hang without the cables hooked up or are the cables merely an in/out assembly?
Will the slide be ok without any cables to even it out.....the slide bound up pretty good and I was able to free it and stow it by pushing it in as someonje depressed the button.....but I think with some friendly help I can use the motor and support the slide on it's way out under motor power.
Does this sound ok to do?
Thanks to all for the help:)
