Hi guys,I have a 2008 Weekend Warrior CR 3705 with a 2' dinette slide and a 2' bedroom closet slide out. Well, long story short for the last few weeks I had an issue with the big dinette slide catching on something on it's way in but out the slide never skipped a beat. Just prior to my trip the slide got stuck on it's way in and I pushed on it while my daughter hit the switch and it went in. Went out this week and while trying to move it out the lower cable became really loose (5-7" droop) and the slide wedged in the frame. I immediately stopped and helped it back in....... that is where it stayed.I am a pretty mechanically inclined guy and generally fix everything on my trailer but for the life of me....I can't even how to access the mechanics of this thing! It is sealed up tight and have no idea what happened or how to fix it.Can someone please steer me in the right direction with some tutorials or should I not even mess with it and take it to someone who knows exactly how to deal with this?I really appreciate it....thank youJoe

Sounds like a broke pulley and the cabe wedged. You should be able to access it from underneath the trailer

Thank you for the help. I know the underside of the trailer has a really thick plastic like protective cover stapled throughout. I have never looked beyond this.....the mechanical workings of the slide are all accessible once this sheeting is removed?Thank you for the helpJoe

It sounds like your describing the Accu-Slide cable system. More than likely the cable broke and wedged in one of the pully assemblies. The motor and cables attached will be located at the top of the slide behind a valance or at the bottom of the slide close to the floor.
