Well here goes :) This new fifth wheel we just bought ( new to us ) Came with a new set of wheels ,and tires . They came of a 2020 Big Horn Fifth wheel, the trailer my friend bought, and switched out to the new set of Sailun tires ,and wheels he had purchased a couple months ago , and put on the trailer I bought from him . The tires are Westlake ST 235/80/16 G rated 4080 lbs @ 110 psi. If you didn't know on the sidewall they are pretty much identical to the Sailuns, and the same specs. Anyone have any experience with this G rated Westlake good or bad . I find quite a bit of negative on the E rated Westlakes ,that probably tells the story right there. Anyway before I get rid of them ,and go to the Sailun S637's ST235/85/16 wanted to hear about these Westlakes.We went thru all this with the Sailuns if everyone involved remembers, and we know how they turned out to be a quality tire, arguably the best G rated trailer tire on the market. I don't remember seeing anything much on these G rated Westlakes . Wondering just how long Heartland , and Cedar Creek has been putting them on the new fifth wheels.

Made in China, what else is there to say?

Yes I will go out on a limb here, the best G and H rated trailer tire on the market. Can't argue with it ,their reputation proves it. Some try , but have absolutely NOTHING to back it up , just opinions , NO FACTS whatsoever .

What I am after is not bashing , just some facts on the Westlakes , I don't care if its bad or good ,just would like to hear about them .

I think it's time to give this whole thread a rest. I have let it run without deletions or edits because we all need diversions but it is getting quite ridiculous now.

YOU are making these claims so YOU should have no problem backing them up.

A friend would always say to me "prove it" when I was telling him something.

You are the one constantly bashing GY even when presented with FACTS about the ENDURANCE spotless history you still say not good enough.

My issue with SAILUN is they are Made in COMMUNIST CHINA. I have never bashed them.

I tried ,not a lot out there. Thought I would take a chance here. I pretty much knew what was coming, it was pretty much the usual one man Goodyear fan club . I may sell them , and go with what I know is proven . Right now I don't need to do anything .

I do get a pretty good kick out of the comment communist china tire, as they are sitting at their China made computer typing ,while wearing their china made clothes, and driving vehicles with many china made parts in them . Too funny. Then they promote Goodyear tires that are tearing up fifth wheels. How does the old saying go, " Those living in glass houses should not throw rocks" :B

Remember..... on rv websites its alway the owners/operators fault when a tire has a issue.

Any tires service history can be found on the many different trailering internet websites. This rv based website is but a tiny drop in the bucket concerning how any tires service history was in the past or is currently.
