Well not today, but Saturday I replaced the fuel pump on my Onan 5500. Pretty simple job, except for the fact that one mounting bolt on the old pump was totally obstructed by the edge of the cut-out in the floor. After considering several options, including removing the entire generator (not), I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to need to take a hole saw to the bottom of my trailer. Once I got my mind around that it was easy.
Added some Pri-G, topped off the tank with some fresh fuel and ran it for about an hour under load. All seems well.
