I changed about 30 of the interior lights and all of the outside security lights over to LEDs I ordered from dhgate.com
Overall, I'm very happy. I only spent about $150 total and am happy with the appearance of most of them. Most are the warm white and are indistinguishable from the incandesent bulbs, but 4 of the super bight ones with the 5050 LEDs are a brilliant white. I put them in the fixtures we don't use often.
All of them work fine, no duds. I did find that one batch of wedge base bulbs I ordered are polarity specific...when I put them in, some didn't light. I figured out that if I rotated the bulb 180, then it worked fine.
Now we'll see how long they last. I left a few on overnight, and they were still on this morning, so I guess that's a good sign.
Other than all that, I checked the batteries and ran the genny and both A/Cs for a while and put some 303 on the tires and plastic bits.
