Installed the hose kit to reduce the water knock. What a difference. I was only able to do the one on the pressure side due to my plumbing but it reduced the noise by 90%.
I did that a few years ago when I installed a ShurFlo Revolution waterpump - Also slid some foam insulation around the PEX plumbing that was laying directly on the floor. This combination practically silenced it to the point, I thought it was not working.
I found 2 places where the rigid pipes were touching also and placed foam between them. I'm really happy with the results. Next is an upgraded pump. The current one is 8 yrs old so it may be time for some preventative work. All I do is dry camp so losing a pump is not acceptable.
I suggest the Shurflo Revolution. The "4008" is a direct replacement for the OEM Shurflo 2088 and is much quieter with less cycling than the original. Rated at 3 gpm (55 PSI) vs 2.8 gpm (45 PSI) for the old one, so doesn't really increase your water usage that much, but after I switched it seemed like my pressure had doubled - I could REALLY tell the difference.
They also make a model "4048" which is rated for 4 gpm (55 PSI) for larger water systems.
