I bought a 2006 Ragen FS2500 a couple months ago and really love it so far, its been out 3 times already and going again the first week of January on an archery Deer hunting trip for 4 or 5 days.
In the last 3 weeks I have replaced one roof vent with a Shur Flo Platimum series remote controlled variable speed fan, tossed the old heavy and bulky 120v 19" tube type TV with a 12v DC/120v AC Spectre 24" LED HDTV/DVD on a full motion mount, installed the HDTV add on antenna to the existing batwing. I also replaced both plastic roof sewer vent jacks and caps, cut off the old single step and replaced it with dual steps and added a swivel out grab rail, bought and installed two X-Chock wheel chocks and swapped 10 of the incandescent light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures with warm white 36LED replacements and plan to do the remaining 4 or 5 bulbs when I get the next order in. Very happy with every upgrade I have made so far!
The next couple projects are replacing the two slide valves on the black and gray water tanks as one or the other is seeping and replacing the two flood lights on the awning side with something less powerful or LED as they are way to bright and power hogs when you just want some lighting while sitting under the awning in the evening. Does anyone know what type of flood bulbs these may be andwhat might fit as a lower wattage or LED replacement? I haven't disassembled them yet and the owners manual doesn't tell me what they are.
