Depends on the battery charger you have in your RV. If it is the cheap model that comes with many brands, it will overcharge your batteries if left plugged in. If your charger is a better model with float and maintenance modes, it is safe to leave it plugged in.
yes I'm plugged in whenever I'm home but I upgraded my converter so it goes into Maintenance Mode when the batteries are full (as opposed to "float" which will boil the batteries). The OEM Parallax converter is a POS unless you have the add on module that converts it to a smart charger.
