I did both front and back ends the same way.
Awesome product, really conforms around everything.
My buddy put it on his hauler a few years ago.
His sits in the AZ sun year round with no cover, still holding up great.
Cleanliness is key to get good adhesion.
I cleaned with soap and water, let it dry overnight and then cleaned with Acetone right before application.
Apply lots of pressure after you put the tape down.
