I have a Trail Air pin box and I need to do this as well. How did you support the pin box when you were raising it? I was thinking I could just hook up the trailer and then go from there...

I was going to do just that but, since I was at a campground and there was a sturdy picnic table right there, I pulled the table under the pin box and supported the weight with a hydraulic jack on top of the table. Worked like a charm.

Since this would have been the 3rd time (that I know of) that these bolts would be torqued down, I took the opportunity to replace all of the hardware with new stuff.
