- N-TroubleExplorerYou'll need to order the following two items. Yes it adheres with double sided tape to the bottom side of the awning where there is a thin metal strip that sits flush against the side of the trailer. I am not all that impressed with the tape however as it is very thin and am having trouble getting it to stay adhered on one end. I took a rag of Acetone to the metal surface prior to make sure it was clean. It is setup to run off of AC which is how I have it powered at the moment but you can cut the chord just before the AC/DC converter brick and wire it into 12v. This is my plan but have yet to do so.

more info. please, where did you get the LED strip? I assume it's just stuck to the skin via double stick tape? Is it 12v? This is my next mod. want to do two strips inside and one like this outside. - N-TroubleExplorerAdded some LED lighting

Replaced the OEM 235/80R16 LRE with 235/85R16 LRG
How much taller are the 85R's? I want to do the same thing. What brand did you go with?
The specs show the 85s are about 3/4 inch taller. After installing them the distance between the tires was the same. Went with Geostars from Les Schwab. Found no complaints online about them other than they are made in China.
So sorry I did not specify WHICH Geostar I purchased. And it is not the GS716. And I suppose that the CR article means that ALL Geostar tires are of poor quality. I guess the problems with Goodyear ST tires means that all GY tires are failures waiting to happen. Sure am glad you have the time to research it though! - joebedfordNomad III
