Change the propane hose connections - still smell propane, maybe regulator?
don't guess, check with soap bubbles with both tanks on. Should be able to access all the gas line fittings. - eDUBzExplorerChange the propane hose connections - still smell propane, maybe regulator?
- agteacherExplorerWe sold the Weekend Warrior SLC3505 last week and yesterday we bought a 2007 Arctic Fox 1150 Silver Fox Edition for $6500 (too good of a deal to pass up), so no more camper payments. It has all of the options available for that year. The owner is giving us the Super Hitch extension, the HappiJac tiedowns from his truck, and the portable satellite he bought. The SuperHitch receiver won't fit our truck, so we have to find one of those. We found some dampness in the front cabinet(over 6" rain in last week), but the paneling and filon are solid and haven't separated, so we are thinking we should be able to seal the outside really good and it will dry out and be okay. Planning to put Eternabond over all of the seams, use dicor or that rope caulk stuff on anything else. We think we did okay for a used camper - the guy was only interested in keeping the truck (we already have a dually) and was willing to deal on the camper. When we were going through the camper, we found a file folder with all of the owner manuals and repair orders for the camper. We will be the 4th owner. The camper was originally in Texas, but is now in Ohio. The guy we bought it from had it for 1 1/2 years. It looks like the truck (145,000 miles with no rust) is the original truck for this camper and has followed the camper throughout its life until now.
- BedlamModeratorWe also went from a toy hauler to a truck camper. We just upgraded to a triple slide model with side door and dry bath.

Sold it - may be going back to a truck camper - the ultimate toy hauler. Put the toys behind it and go anywhere.
That's the decision I made last year. Sold my Toy Hauler bought a new little travel trailer and carried the Hog in the back of the truck...Sold the little travel trailer this year and bought a new Toy Hauler LOL! - agteacherExplorerSold it - may be going back to a truck camper - the ultimate toy hauler. - sin_cal_hdExplorerPut the jib crane up and operational. It's a little sketchy, but it works. So much easier to install the 5th wheel.
Also, started loading it up with the essentials. T-minus 36 hrs and counting. - N9FEBExplorerReplaced empty LP tank after going to Daytona Bike Week. Added spare tire mount on rear using modified drop-down tire holder. Added carpet treads to steps. Getting ready for Dayton OH Ham Radio Convention weekend.
- WizbangdoodleExplorerReplaced the outside tv today. Worked the last time out. Tried it this trip and no power. Contacted Grand Design and they said "go get a nice one somewhere and we'll reimburse you". Absolutely stellar customer support, love this company.
- sin_cal_hdExplorerTook out the cheap plastic tv wall mount and installed a beefier mount. Hooked up tv to the Amazon fire
