- htwheelz67ExplorerUsed some non Kalifornia compliant proflex rv sealant to seal my windows on my trailer here in Kalifornia, worked great, shipped to my door from out of state.......bite me Kalifornia!
- naytherExplorerPulled it out Wednesday and back in yesterday for a spare bedroom.
- BraveheartExplorerI had a new awning installed and had a new onan carb delivered.
- htwheelz67ExplorerI thought about going over to storage and doing some maintanance on it..........but I didn't maybe tomorrow.
- BedlamModeratorI'm not he weight police but will research out the minutiae on the vehicle I own so I know which component is the weakest in capacity. I then determine which ratings are limited by truck class rather than component - This where I feel safe hauling or towing.
- stevee401ExplorerWeight police? That is funny. I am towing a 11.5K trailer with my 7.3. Is that too much also? Thanks.

Just watch your rear tire and rim capacity on those heavy pin weight models. You can upgrade to 19.5" wheels to get 9K lbs or more of capacity on your rear axle.
I by no means trying to argue what you are saying here. But, I find it kind of odd that subsituting a larger weight capacity wheel from your stock wheel seems to be ok. But adding airbags is the worst possible thing to do to gain a higher gross weight. Does anyone else see irony in this. Or maybe the 19.5 wheel is a oem option. Is that a possibility from factory?
To bedlam, I by no means am trying to call you out on anything. I dont know if you are a weight police type person or not. Im surprised that the weight police havent come out and hung your statement out to dry. Maybe Im reading to much into it. Have a good day all. I need to start this thread from the begining...... - StraboExplorerWe used it.....@ Dumont Dunes!!!
Happy Holidays!! - WizbangdoodleExplorerI finally towed it to indoor storage after having rebuilt the entire engine in my truck.
