Thanks, still not sure what I'm going to do to fix mine but I like the idea of moving the sub to the basement, then it will work outside as well.
forgot to mention, I have a pigtail inside for the woofer, in case I want the boom in my room - naytherExplorer

oh, and filled liquor cabinet :B
I think I'm ready for New Years!
two questions and you might have to post some pics:
1. What did you do for sub-woofer? I still have the POS under the refer. but did add crossover and amp for it.
2. Baffles for 6x9's ????
1. I used a Pioneer woofer and built a .70cf sealed enclosure, sounds awesome with the pioneer decks sub output to the p.o.s flea market amp Rage'n so graciously installed. I unpluged the p.o.s 6x9 "woofer" under the fridge and ran that line out to the storage area to connect to the new sub. I am going to convert that area under the fridge to a liquor locker (someday)... there is so much wasted room under there!
2. Foam baffles accomplish basically the same thing as a capacitor on the speakers, they restrict cone excursion removing bass and the also add a moisture barrier. just shove the baffle in the hole, shove in the speaker into them and screw em in. Old car stereo trick.
Sounds great, can't wait to annoy my blue-haired neighbors that will undoubtedly chime in now in 5....4.....3....2....:B

Next step, to put up art and photos.

We are getting ours ready for a trip to the pan handle of Florida for a week. Cleaning, topped off the propane, stocked with food.
We arrived at Topsail Hill at 1pm Christmas Eve. Great weather today. It's a white Christmas, white sand beach...
We are headed to St Joseph Peninsula State Park on the 26th. - mrxlhExplorerI put mine up for the season 2 weeks ago. Cleaned the inside up from top to bottom from hunting and winterized it. Went hunting yesterday and went by it and kissed it and got a couple knives and a saw out of it.
We have camped more this year than we have in any 3 years combined in our old one. While it was not perfect, it only had to get 1 repair that I could not have made under warranty. Keystone may not be perfect, but if I had to do it all over again, I would not change what I bought. - 1L243Explorer IIYou know if they made a 4x4 off road Smart Car?
