Would like to do this to mine as well.... do you have pics? - bkirkpatrickExplorerFinished my double solar panel and controller installation.
- mikakujaExplorerPut new tires on yesterday, while I was at it I repacked the wheel bearings, cleaned and adjusted the brakes and gave her a quick bath.... The igniter on the range had quit so I pulled it out and replaced it with a universal battery powered igniter from Wal Mart, really happy with the results, sooooo much better than the clunky loud twist knob igniter..... Last but not least, dewinterized and ran up the water heater, furnace, etc..... Ran into one problem, lost the low point drain plug cap so I have to go down to the rv dealer today and pick one up... Hope to take it out this weekend for a bit of R&R if the weather holds out.
- BobWandererExplorerSpun it around in the yard and hooked Her up.
Also put a valve between the 2 fresh water tanks so I don't carry so much water for weekend trips. $12.47 for a 1 1/4' "ball valve" and 2 barbed fittings and 2 clamps. About a 1/2 hour of time.
Gauge still works and apparantly the pump draws off the tank that Fills first. Moved the weight forward a little which is NOT good when the Rhino is not along, so it took a little more air in the "Bags" to level it out. Still 2K lighter and all the tire problems involved the rear tires/rims, so I should be good to go. Need to weight it in the current config. - jasonlisanExplorerLoaded it up for the first trip of the season, can't believe it's the first one, usually we've done four already. At least it's a 5-day first trip. ;)
- 1L243Explorer IIWell don't come this way because it's going up here.....
- Steve_O_RenoExplorerGetting ready for a vacation trip(s) Removed gas and replaced with fresh and added stabil. Washed the roof and touched up caulking. Washed and waxed the entire outside of the 3912. 3 bottles of cleaner polish. Washed the windows and coated with RainX. Picked out and getting ready to order 17.5" wheel and tire combo. Ordered Drive tires for the Freightliner. If I keep spending $ the vacations going to be close to home. At least Fuel is going down.
- bkirkpatrickExplorerI installed an green LED (very bright) bulb (running light) to the 5th wheel area that I can see behind my truck bed (with the rear view mirrors)so that I know whether or not the pigtail has connection to the actual 5th wheel or if it it has become disconnected while traveling. I put a lot of wood in my bed and sometimes it shifts, pulling the trailer connector out of the socket. The brake controller light is blocked by the angle of the steering wheel and I am always checking my mirrors. Thus, if the running light is off, then I am not connected.
- BobWandererExplorerSpent most of the day cleaning, getting ready for a Sierra trip next weekend.
Not sure if there is enough room for a few fishing rods and a tackle box :h
No Rhino, No Bikes, No riding gear, etc.
