- justALnowExplorerGot home from work last night and decided to pull the TH around to the driveway, so we could start loading for the Christmas trip. Front cap looked pretty grungy, so thought I would just give it a quick wash. As long as I was at it the LP bottle cover needed a good scrubbin', too.
Once that was done, the rest of the trailer looked pretty bad. Figured I could just do the door side - after all, that's the only side anyone will see, once we're set up. Got that side done, and what the heck, still got soap in the bucket - the rear ramp and facia won't take long.
Fortunately, about this time the GF returned from the store with some cold Silver Bullets, so I had to take a break. After replenishing the electrolytes in my system, I had the energy to go ahead and do the off-door side.
So, about 2 & a half hours and 4 beers after starting - the whole thing was washed and ready to start loading.
The rain didn't start for a good 10 minutes.
Oh well, it's clean . . . and rainwater rinsed! - Mike_LAExplorer

- justALnowExplorerNot so much on the TH, but gave the buggy some much-needed TLC. It started having carb problems about a year ago and stranded me a couple of times. Attempts to fix it worked only to the extent that it stranded me FARTHER from home. In the meantime, it has been sitting on 2 flat tires on a trailer, covered with a tarp providing housing for all sorts of critters. Sad, I know. Just been busy with other stuff.
So, about a week ago I ordered a new carb for it and installed it last weekend. Once it was running, I aired up the tires and unloaded it from the trailer. Satisfied that it was running again, I was inspired to replace the old worn out taillights with LED's and give it a good cleaning. It even got some Christmas decorations and has made several trips around the neighborhood checking out the Christmas lights.
Looking forward to getting it in the dirt again, now!
