Spring was still intact, really weird. Finished the other side Saturday and all was well except one wheel see fell out when I pulled the drum but no grease on the inside of the drum. All new wheel seals this time.
Then I started waxing, and waxing, and waxing.....Still not done but close. As of Saturday.....I'm outa here for a week in Mammoth. Hope to meet up with Hap Hazard while I'm there for a cold frosty one.
Have a safe and fun trip

repacked driver side bearings and found one of the adjusters had fallen off and was inside the drum, no damage except the adjuster, obviously had only 3 brakes! Passenger side this weekend after I pull it out of the driveway.
Thats EXACTLY the reason to pull the wheels when servicing the bearings over squirting some grease into a "auto lube" setup. I have found the same issue on my rig twice.
Did the adjuster just fall off or did the spring break ?? - naytherExplorerrepacked driver side bearings and found one of the adjusters had fallen off and was inside the drum, no damage except the adjuster, obviously had only 3 brakes! - aemedicExplorerYesterday, I guess you could say I got lucky...I found that one of my tires (Discount tire - Transmaster) that I had to pick up in Albuquerque, NM in 2010 started to have tread separation. Discount tire was great about paying for replacement (at least so far). I am replacing those two with Firestone TransForce HT LT tires to match the other 4 tires, now all 6 match.
- jetboater454ExplorerThanks all,life goes on.But probably won't include camping anymore.
- Poppy___NanaExplorerWell we drove our TH 3 hours to the dealer for a 2 page list of warranty issues......we would have dealt with a lot of them IF we knew how they (Dutchmen) would handle the major complaint - a nail/screw penetrating the fiberglass from the inside - out....with spidering and delam starting!!!!!
We'll see how our dealer works with us! - Poppy___NanaExplorer
