- fj12ryderExplorer IIIWhat's the drop on the quad steps, and what brand/model are they? I mean the drop from the top of the upper step to the top of the bottom step. I'd like to get a quad step that actually goes lower than a triple. :)
Looks good. Never seen one of those types of handles before. - stsmarkExplorerDid a few projects to make using the Cyclone easier for a gimp,

Ready for 3 weeks around CA / OR :-) - trail-explorerExplorerI was actually helping a friend with his toy hauler and he had me help him install some new tail lights.
They are the typical 4" round grommet mounted, but a new design which looks pretty cool:
4" round GloLight tail lights - Mrs__O_MordhaExplorerThis weekend I replaced the fan in the bathroom vent, resealed the trailer and washed the roof, installed a magnetic knife wall strip near the stove, replaced a set of blinds that my dog chomped on, tightened all the screws on the folding couches, and put a new non-slip wrap thinger on the on the step.
- Poppy___NanaExplorerWe installed a new screen on the garage door, install went smooth and the screen looks so much better than that heavy vinyl and small screens! Screen only cost $133.00 and was custom cut for the door!
I purchased it here! - porknbeanrExplorerInstalled an electric awning.
Our Hauler is tall an required a ladder to unlatch one of the arms on the old manual awning. It made it just enough of a pain that we very seldom used it. No problem now. - porknbeanrExplorer

Well, it was actually last week, not today but Ive been busy. Poor mans flag holder for my Raptor. Some PVC pieces inserted and pinned into where the ladder mounts...went to see Sammy Hagar in concert and had to fly the "Red Rocker" flag my wife made for our casino parking lot boondocking!

Very clever. Great looking mod.
- River_SandExplorerThanks 64thunderbolt, like I said in the install post it's fairly easy but... you need to be some what comfortable working with wiring and electricity.
The best part so far is it maintains all of the OEM functions without the need for batteries and a add on switch to make the fan run at different speeds.
Here is a little more info.
The unit part# is 3313189.000, paid just over $80 from PPL RV. I see CW has them now too.
The is the base unit, but they have them for units with heat pumps and heat strips.
The A/C units that are covered are 540, 4579, 4595 and 640.
Mine is a 59516 which is the older 4595 unit so I was told. So far all seems to work in my preliminary testing, I can't run the A/C to long as my outlet at home is 120 - 15 amps.
The furnace make doesn't seem to matter, as long as it has a 2 wire lead to the control box. - 64thunderboltExplorer IIGood install. Keep us posted on the performance. Something I would be interested in doing. Thanks for the pics.
- River_SandExplorerI been having some issues with the A/C restarting once the temp has been reached, so I starting looking into digital units. Most use a big box store digital for home use, which works fine, but then you lose the Hi or Lo fan speed depending on how you wire it up and it still needs to use batteries.
Then I found the Dometic Single Zone LCD units, they cover most all of the current units.
My WW only has A/C and furnace, no heat pump or heat strip.
I ordered the base unit, Fan, A/C and Heat.
It will cost a bit more than a home digital Tstat because you will need the control box too.
I started the removal process;
Old control box needs to come out, which is located up in the A/C unit on the inside, no need to go up on the roof.
Old Tstat out
Install begins...
New control box in, only 3 wires are needed to control the new Tstat instead of the 6 which the old one used.
The new digital Tstat installed, all of the old functions still work including Hi and Lo fan.
All in all not a hard install about 2 hrs., some rewiring is required. I haven't had a chance to try it out but will in a couple of weeks we will be going out.
