It would be great to hear a report on any difference you have seen between using a pair of 12s verses a pair of 6s! - BadhabtExplorerAfter 7 years on my fading pair of 12V interstate batteries...went the 6V route.

- joebedfordNomad IIIYup, shackle at one end of the equalizer.
- WizbangdoodleExplorerI had upgraded shackles installed. The shop I had it done at said that most manufacturers don't do triple axles correctly. The middle axle had shackles at both ends and can allow the axle to move forward and back. Now I have heavy duty shackles and the center axle stays put.

Ran #2 welding cable down frig vent and hooked up Tristar ts-45 to battery power. Tested CC data output to laptop and all ok. Installed Trimetric 2025RV. It's working but the data output is not? More work on that part. It is reading both battery banks. One for the house batteries the other for the tongue jack. Next step is to install two 100 watt panels on the roof need to fab some mounting hardware first. I think I want to be able to tilt them.
