What do you think about this tongue reinforcement?

I have a 2007 Weekend Warrior 26' Superlite It has the 3/16" tongue metal It doesn't have any issues yet but my buggy is pretty heavy so I decided to reinforce some stuff I searched the web and...

When you get to off-road section where you will camp with your trailer, disconnect the weight distribution bars to give your setup more articulation. You will be driving slower here, so the extra stresses of not having WD will be outweighed by better articulation.
