We have a Dutchmen trailer and have to take it back to the dealer a few times for things to be repaired. Our dealer is about 25 minutes from the factory and it still takes a couple of days to get parts like water pumps (standard items every trailer has) I am not sure if that is a dealer thing or a Dutchmen thing but it is annoying. The other few minor things the dealer had to fix were things that a better quality control inspection would have caught at the factory, but they were all taken care of in a reasonable time frame.
All manufacturers make some junk trailers now and then. Some owners forget that trailers hit every bump in the road and sometimes screws fall out. Some find it easier to fix the little stuff as it happens than to drag it to be repaired at the dealer.
We own a 2013 Dutchmen Denali 311 bhs that had a major factory system malfunction not discovered during the walk through that was taken care of immediately by our dealer. If Dutchmen has what we are looking for IF / WHEN we are ready to trade we would but from them again in a minute.
