What is the spring perch
I saw a recent post about changing tires and everyone is saying to jack the trailer up at the spring perch what exactly is that.

I cut a round sleeve a little bigger diameter than the top of my jack and then welded a radius pc on top of that to match the radius of my axle, that way it spreads out the weight and also prevents the jack from slipping off the axle tube and basically makes a cradle for the axle to sit on while on top of my jack. I also have a spring over axle.
