The issue is diesel. I have a 2012 F-250 with 6.2 gas and I'm fine with a 8500 lb GVWR 31' 5er. I'm extended cab instead of SuperCrew which saves weight and 8' bed for stability. Truck is 7160 empty with gas leaving 2840 lbs of cargo. Plenty power for a 9,000 lb 5er. Can I tow an Arctic Fox 31' 5er? No.
