I had a '15 F-250 equipped the same as my current '17 350. My CCC was only 2150 lbs. By the time you add a 5th wheel hitch, you are likely at or under 2,000 lbs. 5th wheel toy haulers are vey pin heavy. When we started looking to upgrade, I didn't find a single 5th wheel toy hauler in the size range we needed, 30-36'. Every single one of them had a pin weight of 2400+.
When I upgraded to the '17 350, my CCC is now 3477. This allowed us to go with a slightly bigger trailer.
