My latest and probably the one that would save me the most time and money If I were to break down on the road is a Kodiak complete rotor/hub assembly with studs and sealed bearing. Very easy to replace on the road.
I couldn't agree more. I carry two only because they were spares from replacing an axle on the road in NE due to a bearing failure. Also wound up with a spare spring. Plus I carry two bottle jacks and plenty of tools.
I really like the TrailerAid Plus, I think it is lighter and safer than the bottle jacks.
I carry both. The TrailerAid Plus doesn't really help you when you need to change a shackle/leaf spring. Being able to raise/lower the axle with a jack is the easiest way to line up bolt holes. Also, at least for my trailer, the TrailerAid Plus doesn't raise it high enough to put an inflated tire on. Last time I had to dig out the dirt a couple of inches.
