Finally made it across the scale yesterday:
2003 F350 CC DRW 6.0 - 8650 with full fuel and people and dogs.
2003 Jayco 3710RLTS - 14600 in normal highway configuration - 1/3 tank fresh water and holding tanks empty. This happens to be 100 pounds over grossweight on data plate.
So knowing you are overweight without filling your water tank, what is your next step?
I trust you realize that you will be guessing on how much overloaded individual components such as axle, springs or tires are overloaded as the data from actual weights for each tire has shown the split of loading is not 50/50 between axles and very rairely is 50/50 side to side.
You could be looking at 5% to 12% overload on one tire. If so it isn't a question of If it will fail but when. Even if it was made in USA and you ahve never exceeded the max speed limit of 65 mph on ST type tires and you always have set your inflation to at least the placard inflation when the tires are cold.
