Here is my question, How are you determining your pin weight?
My reading was axel 1 4520 axel2 5940 axel 3 10520 gross 20980
05 ram 2500 drw 3.73 auto gcwr 21,000

You have to drive off the scale, go to somewhere on the lot and unhook. Then go back across the scale and ask for a re-weigh, doesn't cost anything on a CAT scale. Then compare the numbers on the truck axles. The differences are the pin weight. If the front axle drops 500 lbs and the rear 2000 then the pin weight is 2500. The trailer weight won't change if it's level on the truck. It don't know if the pin box is on the truck or it's on the front legs.
Usually, there is a $1.00 reweigh fee at CAT Scale at the same location of the original weigh. For the best "how to weigh" information, consider visiting Fifth Wheel St..
