How often do you get them packed. 50 years ago they used to recommend every 10,000 miles on a car. Now on my pick up it is 60,000 miles or 5 years. I have seen bearings go over 100,000 miles on a pack. I feel it is an over kill to do then so often, and just a way to make money.
Yes, to do a good pack job it takes about 30 minutes per wheel, so $200 would be considered a fair price.
I do my own trailer every 12K to 15K, mostly to inspect brakes, or about 3 or 4 years.
